H2O Audio has just announced that its new Natalie Coughlin Signature Series: iSH2 product is now available for sale exclusively at Apple Stores from this month onwards. Guess folks who have been hankering after an integrated waterproof headset can finally lay their hands on the iSH2 which was specially developed to work with the Apple iPod Shuffle Gen 2 and 3. Of course, it goes without saying that if you purchase this, it is also compulsory to have some sort of waterproof casing for your iPod Shuffle in the first place as water and electronics do not play nice with each other. Interestingly enough, the product was conceived by H2O Audio and developed with the assistance of world record holder and Olympic multi-medalist swimmer, Natalie Coughlin to turn the fatigue of lap and distance swim training into a music-energized experience.

After seeing pictures of the Samsung Glyde, I believe that we have seen just about everything that can be done with cell phones. It appears that the new industry standard could be a touchscreen along with a QWERTY keyboard. Obviously some new iPhone-ish type of gadget has to come out in order to really revolutionize the mobile phone market any further.

Until then, there is the Glyde. The Glyde is surfing the present industry standard with its touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard. The Glyde, whose official name is the Samsung SCH-U940, has some other very interesting features. Not only does it have a GPS, but there is a full HTML browser as well as V CAST Muisc and Video.

Then, of course, there are the usual bells and whistles such as Bluetooth compatibility, a microSD, and a 2 Megapixel camera with Camcorder for 30-second MMS clips as well as 10 minute normal length clips.

Sadly, some gadget blogs have already downplayed the Glyde, comparing it to the iPhone and LG Voyager, and found it wanting. Rumor has it that the Glyde is due for a May 9th release date, and should be available from Verizon for $249 with a two year contract.
